- The Arab Republic of Egypt has received financing from the International Fund for Agricultural
Development (IFAD) toward the cost the SAIL PROJECT, and intends to apply part of the proceeds
toward payments under the contract for Supply and Installation of PV Systems for Powering
Irrigation Pumps of Pumping Station 12, Pumping Station 13, Along -5Terfa Canal, Minya, Egypt
- . SAIL PROJECT now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply and Installation of PV
Systems for Powering Irrigation Pumps of Pumping Station 12, Pumping Station 13 , Along-5Terfa Canal, Minya, Egypt
- Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified
in IFAD procurement guidelines and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement
Guidelines, itis based on a one-envelope Bidding process.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from SAIL PROJECT and inspect the
bidding documents during office hours i.e. 09:00 am to 3:00 pm (CAIRO – EGYPT LOCAL TIME) at
the address given below.
5.A complete set of bidding documents in English languages may be obtained by interested eligible
bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be
sent by email upon submission a request.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below before 12.00 p.m. by Cairo -Egypt local time on
11 July, 2023. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be
publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives who choose to attend
at the address below at 12.00 p.m. by Cairo – Egypt local time on 11 July, 2023.
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security according to (BID DATA SHEET) The bid security
shall be in the amount of:
USD 6000 for Lot A – USD 6000 for Lot B – USD (12000 ) For Both Lots (A & B)
All bid security must be valid for 150 days from the date of opening session
The bid security can be submitted in USD or any convertible currency accepted by the Purchaser,
with the exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt at any day of the five days prior the date of
bid opening.
A bid security can be submitted as unconditional guarantee issued by a bank in (ENGLISH or
ARABIC LANGUAGE)
